Chemicals spilled in Bell County; Waco team responds
Safety officials are working to contain a spill of more than 800 gallons of hazardous chemicals in Bell County.
A tractor trailer carrying fuel for a construction company overturned at 9:30 a.m. today on State Highway 95 and Roberts Road, about 10 miles north of Holland, said a DPS spokeswoman. The trailer spilled over 600 gallons of diesel and 200 gallons of antifreeze and engine oil.
Officials from DPS’s Waco Hazmat team have been dispatched to the scene for cleanup.
