Clifton woman dies in one-vehicle accident
A Clifton woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Bosque County.
Around 6:45 p.m., Linda Warrenburg, 68, was driving westbound on Farm-to-Market Road 219 about 3.1 miles from Clifton, according to a spokesman from the Department of Public Safety. The 2005 Dodge Caravan left the right side of the road and struck a guardrail, then became airborne and struck an embankment.
Warrenburg was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace James Zander. She was not wearing a seatbelt, the spokesman said. No other passengers were in the vehicle.
