Great, they decided to build in undeveloped land in an already bad economy and contribute to Waco urban sprawl. I will definitly not be doing any kind of business with them, personal or business related.

Well, great attitude there Chuckie. What a fine welcome to our area from one of Waco’s “Welcome Wagon” Ambassadors, Chuck the Curmudgeon.

Actually, you’ve got to hand it to anyone in the banking industry that’s ready to open a new branch. Welcome Incommons; way to step up.

I assure you, they will cause more damage than many of the posters have the capacity to comprehend.. by building and not buying (especially on undeveloped land), they are contributing to the already excessive GLUT of vacant commercial buildings. Just a looking at the vacancies in front of the Walmart on Franklin is only a sample.

Being impulsive without a plan that implements smart growth and discourages urban sprawl is something that progressive cities such as Austin have the mental capital to understand (even though they suffered some errors by inaction but have learned from it) and such foreign concepts fly right over most Wacoans’ heads.

The Mueller Development and the Domain are too complicated for certain Waco area residents to understand.

Yes, let’s welcome their terrible decision while our tax dollars will be used to upkeep the increasing list of vacancies downtown which has and will expand exponentially thanks to geniuses who have no clue.

Happy St. Patrick’s day.

Old Chuck is way too smart for most of us here in Waco. Chuck, Austin is sounding pretty good. Head on down there and help them control that sprawl in the Balconies area. While you’re at it, there are probably a few trees in Zilker that need hugg’n.

Happy Day After St. Patricks Day to you too, unless you want to change that to Shamrock Day.
