Sheriff’s deputy injured when deer runs in front of motorcycle
A Coryell County sheriffs deputy remains hospitalized today, after he wrecked his motorcycle when a deer ran into his path.
The incident happened about 6:30 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 281, about five miles outside of Evant, in Hamilton County, said Coryell County Sheriff Johnny Burks. The sheriff said he was not sure if the motorcycle struck the deer, or if the wreck happened as the deputy swerved to miss the animal.
The deputy, Fernando Ramirez, was hospitalized with a head injury and scrapes from hitting the ground, Burks said. None of the injuries was life threatening, and Ramirez was expected to be released from the hospital by Monday, Burks said.
No information about the accident has been released from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

Ahh yes. A sign of the screwed up times we live in. Let’s blame the police or our parents or our teachers, whatever. It’s not the fault of the fools who get into such fights for no good reason. Illogical, faulty thinking is such a huge drag on our society and our nation. Stop the violence.
