Waco area under wind advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 6 pm for all of North Texas, including Waco and surrounding counties. Winds from the north to northwest of 25 to 30 mph are expected, with stronger gusts during daylight hours.

U.S. women beat Brazil for Olympic soccer gold

It took extra time, but the U.S. women’s soccer team beat Brazil, 1-0, to win the gold medal for the third time in four Olympics.

And they celebrated like so …

a strong back line keep the u.s. in the game until an opeaning occured. the u,s, still needs to find some holding center midfielders or they will resort back to the long ball when abby wambach returns.a good right winger for some crosses wouldn’t hurt.
