Waco area under wind advisory
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 6 pm for all of North Texas, including Waco and surrounding counties. Winds from the north to northwest of 25 to 30 mph are expected, with stronger gusts during daylight hours.

PHOTOS: It’s move-in time for Baylor freshmen
Freshmen have been packing into Baylor’s residence halls the last two days as the university welcomes what officials expect to be the second-largest freshman class in university history.
More than 3,000 first-year students have arrived the last two days. Freshmen will take part in Welcome Week activities through Sunday and begin classes on Monday.
