Back in the mid-90s today

It’s hard to believe we didn’t reach at least 90 degrees on Wednesday, but the official high at Waco Regional Airport was 89 degrees thanks to the influence of Tropical Storm Edouard.

We’ll return to more usual August conditions today with a 10 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Otherwise, its going to be partly cloudy, with a high near 96. Heat-index values will be around 100 this afternoon.
