Stabbing rampage shocks Japan

Police in Japan today are trying to determine what led a 25-year-old man to a stabbing rampage on a Tokyo street Sunday. The suspect killed seven people and wounded a dozen more before he was arrested.

The man drove a rental truck into a crowd of pedestrians at lunchtime and then walked down the street knifing passers-by.

In this related Reuters story, the man posted several warnings about the attack on his blog.
