Extras injured on Hannah Montana movie set

People magazine has the most detail I’ve seen thus far about an accident Tuesday on the Tennessee set of Hannah Montana: The Movie. High winds blew a piece of production equipment onto a Ferris wheel full of extras, injuring several, the magazine reports.

Neither the 15-year-old star, Miley Cyrus, nor her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, were reportedly on the set when the accident occurred. Only a few minor injuries were reported.

Hi, I was an extra and i was there that day. The screen was slamed into the ferris wheel (in between seats, the metal was bent) but only one girl was hurt. She just hurt her wrist (not seriously) and was given medical attention immedietly. The news is just making this a huge deal when it really isnt.
