May not know the name, but you know his music

You might have seen the short story in today’s paper about TV theme writer Earle Hagen dying at age 88. He scored a number of classic TV shows, including The Andy Griffith Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show and I Spy.

Who doesn’t want to whistle the theme to The Andy Griffith Show?

The Los Angeles Times has a lengthy obit on the composer with highlighted links that will play some of those theme songs. Take a trip down memory lane with that story.
