Autism artwork on eBay

There’s just a couple of days remaining on eBay to bid for artwork created by local children with autism as a fundraiser for Autism in Action.

In addition to the art by local kids with autism, there are decorated puzzle pieces by Donald Trump, actors Emily Procter (CSI Miami), Jeff Bridges, Barry Corbin (No Country for Old Men), recording artist Gary Allan, skateboarder Tony Hawk and Waco-area artists Flip Kimmel and Henry Wallace Wright.

Autism in Action sent blank puzzle pieces to celebrities, asking them to decorate the pieces and then send them back to help raise funds.

Art by children throughout Region 12 who participated in the Autism in Action Art Days is posted, as well as the puzzle pieces donated by celebrities. The celebrity puzzle pieces have five more days of bidding.

The proceeds from the Autism in Action campaign go to the Arc of McLennan County’s summer day camp program and the Autism Family Resource Center at Baylor. It also will help fund scholarships at Texas State Technical College for students with autism.
