Rosebud-Lott ISD wins case on leaky roof
The Rosebud-Lott school district sent out this release today about winning a court case over its high school roof:
Following a five-day trial, a Falls County jury rendered a verdict to Rosebud-Lott ISD for a little over $1 million from Bay Systems North America for the repair of its high school roof.
A 10-year warranty for a non-leaking roof system or the materials and labor to repair the leaks was at the root of the dispute.
The law firm of Schwartz & Eichelbaum, which represents the district, presented the case this past week in the Falls County Courthouse in Marlin.
