Clinton blasts Obama during Waco rally

Video: the event

From Waco Tribune-Herald reporter David Doerr:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton attacked her Democratic primary rival, Sen. Barack Obama by questioning his competency on national security issues during her speech today in Waco.

The criticism coincides with the launching of a new ad campaign that asks voters to consider who they want to answer the phone in the White House at 3 a.m. when a national crisis erupts.

“There isn’t any time to convene your advisers or do a survey about what will and what will not be popular,” Clinton said during the rally. “You have to make a decision. And in the world that we face, with both challenges and opportunities, we need a president who picks up that phone ready to decide.”

She criticized Obama for saying that when Clinton has talked about national security, he has accused her of trying to scare people.

“Well I don’t think people in Texas scare that easily,” Clinton said. “The American people aren’t afraid of the challenges and dangers that we face in the world. They want a president with the strength and wisdom to take those challenges and dangers head on. Now there is a big difference between giving speeches about national security and giving orders as commander in chief.”

Barack Hussien Obama. Think about who is killing our American Soilders over there? Think about the murderous 911 attacks? Think about the beheading of Americans (on camera) by Islamics with names like…..Barack Hussien Obama? His father and grandfather are Islamics. He was brought up Islamic. His campaign “war chest” is mainly funded by Saudi Arabia and other Mid-Eastern Islamics. Our Islamic enimies are going to buy….the Presidency of the United States.

Mr. Obama’s response to Mrs. Clinton solidifies that he is a P***. If he wants to keep his kool-aide image, he needs to stop whinning.

Fred,

I’m sorry, but that is just one of the silliest arguments from this entire election period. Focusing on someone’s middle name is the stuff of playground taunts.

Adding in the politics of fear is just as pointless. Seven years of that is enough. Seriously.

If you want to be against someone’s positions, go for it. I might not agree with you, but I’ll respect you in the morning.

The major international foreign policy decisionmakers have endorsed Sen. Clinton. This is a conversation America needs to have even if it is unpleasant to think about a crisis. Two years in the Senate is not sufficient preparation for the Presidency, despite what Sen. Dodd (I want a Cabinet position, please, sir) said. This one landed a direct hit on Obama according to how loudly he is protesting. America needs to get sober and get real and seriously consider challenges to our security.

The rally was pathetic, only 6-700 people at most. I only went so I could boo and yell gobama when she attacked. Look out! There’s a brain sucking monster on Fred’s head! Oh wait… it’s dead.

The rally rocked! Fact check: From the Trib Reporter: “2:32 p.m.: Fire marshal says there are 1,257 people here now.” There were several hundred more who came in during the event. Yeah, reality bites.

Hillary is by far the best candidate and the only one with real plans and any experience to make a difference.

Fred, you are an idiot and if they still had Jim Crow laws I’m betting you wouldn’t pass to get to vote. But to set the record straight, Barack was not raised muslim. His father left when he was 2. He’s Christian.

Stephanie-you are pretty simple minded. Hillary is the senior senator from NY and sits on the armed services committee.

Geez….intelligent dialogue is a good thing, but you all seem to know nothing! I’m betting you’d support Bush for 4 more years if he was allowed to run.

Fred; Even though I do not support Barrack Hussein Obama, I do not believe that he should be judged just by his name or the origin of his name or by his religious background This is equal to saying that he was not a good candidate just because he was black. He and his family have no history of the suffering and pain that Africans experienced when they first set foot on American soil and in the years up to the present. Yet, so many blacks are supporting him just because he is black. To tell you the truth I will vote in the Republican primary for the first time in 30 years just because I dont see a candidate in the Democratic party that I could support. Having served time in the military I cannot see us having a woman Commander in Chief that would not be eligble for front line combat duty if she were just a private.

YOU MIGHT BE AN IDIOT:-)

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary’s than they had ever been before or since.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)

Best regards

jacksmith…

Sherri,

Just as an FYI, Hillary Clinton isn’t the senior senator from New York. That’s Chuck Schumer.

Obama has unfortunately led many people to believe that he is this anti-war messiah. Here’s a few of the “facts” that I’m sure they don’t want us to know. 1. After taking senate office in Jan 2005 he voted numerous times to support Iraq war funding to the tune of $300 billion. 2. In June 2006 he voted against a proposal by Sen J. Kerry to remove most troops from Iraq within a year calling it an “arbitrary deadline”. 3. He first voted against funding for the war in May 2007 AFTER he declared his candidacy! 4. His record of “no vote” in the Illinois senate is 16% meaning he won’t or can’t take a stand on much. 5. His “Yes We Can” is the Cesar Chavez “Si Se Puede” that he ripped off. Of course the poor young people that he’s leading on don’t remember!!

1) Hillary - show me the taxes! Where is all that money ($5 million she lent her campaign) coming from? Why the lack of transparency? Obama has submitted his for 2006 AND 2007.

2) Hillary already had a chance to fix healthcare back in ‘93- didn’t work. What makes us think she’ll do it now? She wasn’t able to work in a bi-partisan way to make it happen. Top democrats complained she didn’t even include them in discussions!

3) Obama has been in elected office longer than Hillary. He’s got more experience. Look it up.

4) Who do I want at 3am? I guess someone who’s not going to vote for another BUSH-type war!

5) She is one of the top 10 senators in earmarks. $340 MILLION DOLLARS for 2007. Obama - one of the lowest in earmarks.I’ve

changed my mind. I’m voting for Obama. I am proud to be a woman – I have too much respect for women to vote for this corrupt one.

Did we forget WHITEWATER, TRAVELGATE, FILEGATE, TROOPERGATE, VINCE FOSTER’s SUICIDE (Cover-up for the Clintons)?

I Don’t know who is worse - Hillary or McCain! They’ll both keep us at war and she’ll be worried about her self-serving interests.

Who would Jesus vote for? Let’s look into our hearts. Beyond race and gender. Would God want us to prolong the killing of US soldiers overseas? Would God want us killing poor innocent women and children because they pray to our Lord in a different language? Let’s look to the candidate who will end this war and bring the US military home. Let’s vote for the candidate who takes the “high-road”. Let’s vote for the candidate who displays love and will work with others to make America great again. God Bless America. Let’s vote for Obama.

Hillary has got more smarts to be president than barack hussein obama. While she was working for children in poverty he was smoking crack. Her healthcare program will cover a few of my relatives who currently do not have health care, they wouldnt be covered under obama’s. Hands down she has got the depth for the job. he has oprah’s money and a ton of xeroxed speeches. Regarding the iraq war, these are quotes. In 2004, Sen. Obama said he didn’t know how he would have voted on the Iraq War resolution. In 2004, Sen. Obama also said there was little difference between his position and George Bush’s position on Iraq: In a meeting with Chicago Tribune reporters at the Democratic National Convention, Obama said, “On Iraq, on paper, there’s not as much difference, I think, between the Bush administration and a Kerry administration as there would have been a year ago. […] There’s not much of a difference between my position and George Bush’s position at this stage.” [Chicago Tribune, 07/27/04]

google “obama and Tony Rezko”, google Rev. Wright and obama- the story that obama’s LONG time preacher who he knows very well said these states quoted below. (I dont think its the kind of change that we were hoping for) More recently, his name is becoming nationally familiar as the longtime spiritual mentor of Barack Obama, who joined the church in 1988 - a move Obama says was important to shaping his identity as an African-American. In fact, Obama’s book title “Audacity of Hope” was taken from one of Wright’s sermons. (Plagiarism even then, huh?)

Here’s some audacious comments from the good Rev. Wright on random topics:

On 9/11: “In the 21st century, white America got a wake-up call after 9/11/01…White America and the Western world came to realize that people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared,’ as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring Black concerns.”

On Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan: “He brings a perspective that is helpful and honest…Minister Farrakhan will be remembered as one of the 20th and 21st century giants of the African-American religious experience.”

He is NOT the kind of American President we want in office, our vote goes to Hillary who at least had the balls to reject Farrakhan’s racism on MANY occasions.
