A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted!

I chose this principle out of God’s word today because it is so fitting for this blog entry. When I was offered the opportunity to do “BIBLE TALK” by the Trib, I was excited about the opportunity to create some neat dialogue about why people believe the way they do. The success of “BIBLE TALK” has surpassed without question, the expectations for a religious blog. Yes- it was a time to plant a new approach to talking about our differences of religious beliefs. I am so proud of each of you for contributing to the dialogue. You, the readers are the true success story! You’re ability to share so openly, sometimes to the point of being vulnerable was indeed touching. To each of you-I say “THANK YOU”

Which brings me to the later part of King Solomon’s wisdom- because of time constraints and other obligations; it is time to pluck up BIBLE TALK. Today is my final blog entry for the Waco Tribune Herald. I am so thankful to the editors of the paper for the opportunity to take this spiritual journey with my fellow bloggers. I am a much better minister and Pastor today because of Bible Talk and the blog journey we took together. So to all involved in making this blog the #1 community blog on Wacotrib.com, I say THANK YOU AND GOOD BYE from the bottom of my heart!

God Bless! Pastor Joe A. Carbajal Senior Pastor Mighty Wind Worship Center

What do you mean, it’s over so soon???? I just got warmed up!!!!! Pastor Carbajal, I extend my very best wishes to you, I have appreciated the opportunity you have provided for a non believer to have a voice as well as your enthusiastic embracing of those of us who may believe differently. Your humor, your knowledge and your strength in your faith are truly admirable, I wish you the best! Fellow bloggers, thank you for the dialogue, all of you are great and wonderful people and I have enjoyed this more than you can ever know!

You will be missed. Thanks for your openness and candor. I think this dialogue has been fruitful, and for me, inspiring. It has helped me stengthen my voice as a non-believer.

Best wishes to you, Pastor Joe.

Why don’t the Waco Police pluck the crime that has been planted all over Waco?

Mr. Carbajal how exactly is planting and growing and plucking done in your ministry. I’m just asking a civilized question? Has someone ever felt they had to remove themselves because of someone else being sheltered by a ministerial staff because they felt they had the right not to like that person. If so, how did you feel when you found out that person’s faith was non existent due to favoritism. I once heard about defamation of character and how you must limit what you say about someone, or they can get the law involved, is that something you believe in? Does anyone ever see anything as pushing buttons when they try to not take someone seriously about their walk with God and how it’s not even labled that anymore? Does God just love those that act goody goody or does He tell people to ignore the sinners?

Hello WacoTrib … Since you are leaving a blog up for 5 months after the author quit posting, might we suggest you be about looking for a replacement host? (Tough act to follow, brother Carbajal, thank you for your service.)
