‘Hang Em By Their Toe Nails’

Gross…

Have you ever been to a restaurant and the waiter or waitress had hickies up one side and down the other?

Yea, So I had this experience the other day. Yuck, I could hardly eat my meal and enjoy it. Now I do not care that she had them, she should have covered them up. It looked like a lemon sized hickie. Wow! Lol, I guess my point is why would a manager not make them cover them up? I almost asked her if it hurt.

Any who, I hope that I always have boys. IF my daughter or even my son came home with one of them honkers I would bend him or her over my knee. I like the saying “Hang em by their toe nails”. That sounds so harsh. Ouch. My mother has told me that a few times. It made me shiver. Ick.

The worst punishment I think I ever received was having to pick my own peach limb. Oh Mercy! You knew you were in trouble and had broken numerous laws.

That was okay then. Now you do that and a kid or neighbor would call the police on you. Back in my day there was less juvenile delinquents. We were too scared to get our butt busted. Now, the government has created a no fear policy with children. Children do not have to respect or follow guidelines. It is sad. I could go on and on, but I wont.

Last thing…. If you raise your child with love that is great. Mixed in to that love has to be discipline. We have to take our children back into our own hands.

Oh, by the way IT IS FRIDAY!!!!

YAY

Have a great weekend………and a great day!

How many peach limbs did you have to pick when you came home and told your parents you were pregnant?

You know there are always going to be hateful people leaving hateful comments. How RUDE!! We all make mistakes, even the girl with the “lemon”. I just have to say maybe the manager was short staffed and had no one else to work!! I’m sure you would not have been happy if you showed up and had to wait a long time. Also, I would wait till your kiddos are old enough to get “lemons” before you say what you would do…and they would be big enough to put YOU over their knee!! I’m just sayin…we all do our best as parents..even the girl with the “lemon”. Praise to you for being a good mom and trying your best.

Oh, Mercy. Alwaysacomment, true =-) But, when your three year old points it out and makes a big deal about it. It is not a good situation.

I agree that hickies like what you described are very tacky and very unprofessional. My 3 1/2 year old does not know what they are and probably wouldn’t have noticed. If he did he would have said how she’d get that bruise and I would have said I don’t know but she’s ok. And, left it at that.

Do you make the same comments about people with birth defects or people with trauma to visible portion of their body?

Do you make the same comments about people with tattoos on their neck?

You delete peoples post for having an opinion that pass judgment on you, then turn around and pass judgment on others. You should really practice what you preach.

Who cares if her partner might of got caught up in the heat of passion and sucked alittle to hard. At least his/her mistake will fade in time.

Lol, I understand your point KF. I really did not think of it that way. But, my son made a big deal about it. Tatoos are different. I was having this conversation with a friend yesterday. She brought up a good point. She thinks the lady’s guy was branding her. Which this could open up a whole lot of can of worms, but I could understand that after being in a bad controlling relationship. Landon thought this lady was hurt. Thats why I was slightly upset about it. But, you can not put your children in plastic bubbles. You have to teach them about things as they come up. HAve a great weekend.

Kf I will have to disagree with you…it is very unprofessional to show up to work with hickies on your neck. Its commom sense not to make fun of something that can not be help and she was in no way of passing judgement on this lady. I would feel the same way…..she needs to cover it up or call in untill they are gone…and also To Ramses is none of your business….at least she had the child because I know you would be the first to cuss her out about having an abortion….

You have the right to your opinion dooney. But you people make me laugh…unprofessional? The chick was a waitress for crying out loud…probably making less than minimum wage. I doubt calling into work was an option. If she was comfortable being seen with them, that is really all that matters. No different then having a big pimple on your face. Sure most people especially women would try to cover it up, but not every person would. That certainly doesn’t make them unprofessional.

If the issue was that the son asked about them thinking the lady was injured. BM should of just said something like..I don’t know lets ask her and called the waitress over to explain to her son how she hurt her neck.

So Kf only people with very good jobs and make above min. wage can be professional…..wow……

Lol Some people wait tables while in college. You can actually make great money waiting tables.

Certainly not dooneys. I did not say that. Professionalism is not defined in appearance, but experience, knowledge and skill set. I’m sure their are some very good waiters\waitress’s alike. We are talking Waco though. So the number of fine dining establishments here that would mandate the so called “professional appearance” that you are refer to is bare minimum. I bet most restaurant managers are just glad they showed up for work.

And BM, great money as a waitress is a matter of opinion on what you consider to be great. I haven’t met a wealthy waitress yet that acquired it from waiting tables.

There is certainly nothing wrong with being a waitress\waiter. They serve a vital role in the restaurant industry and should be tipped, especially if they do a good job..hickies or no hickies.

Well I think it’s just a matter of personal appearance. I don’t go to an important interview with MY tattoo showing on my chest, I hide it. But if I go out to a club, I wanna show it because it’s sexy to me! That is my opinion. Maybe she didn’t care of her appearance. Or she’s got a really jeolous b/f and would say something to her if she covered it up!

I agree that this was really unprofessional and she should have covered it up.. We REALLY had to hide these things from our parents in the 70’s or else ,,at least at my house.

There were some at Richfield in the 70’s that looked like gunshot wounds so I understand where Landon was coming from .

I too am somewhat heavily tattooed and I also cover up if I am going to an important interview keeping in mind if it needs to or if I can keep it covered should I get the job…

I have gotten on to my sons about hicky’s LOUDLY and they were all bigger than me when I did it .. they knew not to cross that line ,, I havent had to do the same with my daughters but when or if I do it will be even louder. You gotta care and you gotta keep setting that example even if it seems futile .. and you can surely make some decent money waiting tables.. I got a $100 tip once ….. and Ramses needs to go look in the mirror ,, you notice what he calls himself then complains about her pregnancy …
