This three day festival (July 10-12, 2009) is the largest jazz event on Earth attracting 60-70,000 concert goers from around the world each year. Fifteen stages support continuous music for 180 jazz ensembles using about 1500 musicians playing all genres of jazz. Tickets are 335 euros for all three days.

If you don’t feel like flying to Holland for the 3 day event, you can catch a performance of our local musicians in a FREE send-off concert at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple just 30 miles south of Waco on Fri. Before you comment, please take a few moments to make sure that what you're saying is civil and respectful. We don't tolerate personal attacks, insults, name-calling, impersonations or generally hateful comments — they don't make for a pleasant (or productive) conversation. We want to raise the level of debate and encourage a wide diversity of viewpoints — and that means disagreeing without being disagreeable. If you wouldn't say it to your grandmother, you probably shouldn't say it here.
