10th Leper at Ice House on Sat. May 30, 2009

Zack and Jim’s Hog Creek Ice House in Speegleville will host a ‘Pork Party’ on Sat. May 30 beginning at 6 pm with the Waco band, 10th Leper. At 8:30 pm, Lange Debault, an up and coming songwriter artist from Waco will perform his original music.

10th Leper has been playing throughout Central Texas for over 10 years. Their music runs the entire spectrum from blues to hard rock. These guys play their hearts out at every performance inspiring and entertaining their audiences. Their combined experience equals over 100 years of musical performances. Paul Fields and Kenny Parker play hot leads on guitar. Gene Ballou plays his own unique style on keyboard. Keeping the driving beat going are Chris DelConto on drums and David Munday on bass. The vocals are shared by the musicians.

The Ice House is located about 6-7 miles north past Lake Waco off Highway 6 at 170 Branson Trail just before you get to Cedar Creek Cross Rd.

The nonpartisan group that set up the Waco Tea Party on April 15 has organized this family friendly ‘Pork Party’ to raise money to continue their protests against excessive government spending. The suggested donation is $10. Kids under 17 are welcome and will be admitted free. In addition to the music, there will be games, contests, and a silent auction.

Thanks Sandy for the blog didn’t get a chance to respond until this morning. We had a great time and I am hoping that the event was very successful. We met a lot of good people enjoyed ourselves quite a lot. Thank you “Waco Tea Party” for the invitation, and for what you are doing!!! Paul Fields 10th Leper

Before you comment, please take a few moments to make sure that what you're saying is civil and respectful. We don't tolerate personal attacks, insults, name-calling, impersonations or generally hateful comments — they don't make for a pleasant (or productive) conversation. We want to raise the level of debate and encourage a wide diversity of viewpoints — and that means disagreeing without being disagreeable. If you wouldn't say it to your grandmother, you probably shouldn't say it here.
