Tournament ends with honor score
By David Light
During the last weekend of the 3rd Annual Greater Waco City Tournaments, Arthur Edwards shot the only honor score of the tournaments with a perfect 300 game. Arthur bowled in Division II this year and got 1st place in the singles and all-events. Great bowling, keep those honor scores rollin’ in.
In the Open Tournament, our City Champion Terry Williams shot three series with a total of 2080. Terry also won the singles event with a score of 731 and teamed up with David Light to take the Doubles event with a combined score of 1350.
In the Women’s Tournament the City Champion is not yet clear. The tournament director is conducting a score audit between two top contenders- Rachel Adair and Mycha Combs. The city champion is determined by scratch scores. Mycha did take the Division I singles event with a handicapped score of 809. Mallory Sharp and Brenda Rechenthin teamed up to take the Division I doubles with a handicapped score of 1451.
All results for the 3rd Annual Greater Waco City Tournaments are posted on wacobowling.com
Be sure to keep March 20th open to attend the Champions Gala.
