Trib sports guys Brice Cherry, John Werner and Tony Adame return to talk all things Baylor and Big 12:
• For Baylor, it was another disappointing loss last week in what's become a string of them to close the year. Brice's column of pointed questions raised many issues that a lot of Bears fans have been asking about the investment those coaches have in the team. The word from Baylor this week is that they're still coaching as hard as ever. What do you think the legacy of this coaching staff will be?
• If any of the games in this stretch feels like an almost guaranteed loss, it's the one coming up Saturday against West Virginia. Baylor has a freshman quarterback playing on the road and a shorthanded depth chart, and the Bears are going up against a team still in the running for the Big 12 title. Likelihood of an upset, between 1 and 100?
• So let's talk coaching, which is a persistent topic nowadays. Two questions: which of the rumored candidates would be the best fit for Baylor, and who do you think Mack Rhoades ends up hiring?
• Charlie Strong also got swept up in the coaching winds, as Texas fired him the day after the Longhorns' season-ending loss to TCU and hired Tom Herman the same day. Two-fold question again: What will Strong's legacy at Texas be? And how quickly can Herman get the program on the right track?
