The Baylor football team’s Sept. 5 season opener at Wake Forest will be televised regionally on ABC with a mirror telecast on ESPN2.
The game is set for 2:30 p.m. It will be the Bears’ first appearance on ABC since 1997 when they dropped a 45-14 decision to Miami in Waco in the season opener.
Baylor has also set the times for its other three nonconference games — a 4 p.m. kickoff against Connecticut on Sept. 19 and 6 p.m. kickoffs against Northwestern State on Sept. 26 and Kent State on Oct. 3.

Word up! And, the New York York Times Quad Countdown is out...
Good words for Baylor's rising football program. The Bears are way up there from a year ago AND the boys in the Big Apple are touting Robert Griffin as a legitimate Heisman candidate!
You heard right Bear Republic! Heisman candidate at Baylor...
And why not? Griffin is smart, fast, tough and fun to watch. Check out the Quad countdown where it calls Baylor's victory over A&M a "mauling." Indeed it was! Good analysis there too.
A lot of love there for Briles, Joe Paw, Lake and others... This Bear is gearing up for a sensational season.

Very good. Coach Briles speaks of building momentum, and the football program continues to get good news. Go Bears
