Talk of the Town, a series of nine fund-raising parties for the Historic Waco Foundation, begins on Wednesday with “Sunset Supper in the Village,” a dinner at Selena’s Table restaurant with jazz music by Jon Fox, Trammell Kelly and Jon Kutz.

Among the dinners are a Broadway revue at the Waco Civic Theatre on Nov. 12, a lecture by historian Douglas Brinkley on Nov. 20, a Walt Wilkins and the Mystiqueros concert on Nov. 21, New Orleans jazz and blues from Classie Ballou on Nov. 22 and a hunting retreat Dec. 4-6.
