A Taylor, Texas, enterprise called Stockade Companies is looking at the Waco market for expansion. It thinks the city would support both its Montana Mike's and Sirloin Stockade restaurants.

Anyone wanting to become a franchisee would need a building that covered 5,500 to 8,500 square feet. COO Terry Harstad said franchisees sometimes convert closed restaurants to Montana Mike's and Sirloin Stockade locations.

Those interested in becoming franchisees may call Harstad at 512-352-5030.
