Good to know: Epicurean Chef, Han Ashley prepares the food for Friday and the Saturday take home. The Club Sandwich, owned by Youngdae Moon, makes Vietnamese sandwiches 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Free hot chocolate, coffee and soft drinks are served to all McLennan County college students with ID.
Healthy options? Many things are vegetarian or vegan.
Restaurant’s origins: The old Hoffman Banana building was bought in 2008 to house several faith based programs operated by Waco Outreach Foundation, one of which is Jakarta.
